The convenience of hydraulic ladder deployment. The safety of back-of-the-truck positioning.
Hydraulic ladder racks were a great innovation. They freed storage space and delivered the ladder at waist level, so you could grab and go. But in congested urban areas, there’s often not enough room to deploy the rack. And, with drivers flying past your rig so that they practically take the name off your turnout gear, you want to minimize time at the side of the truck. That’s why we developed the overhead ladder gantry, which delivers the ladder at the rear of the truck, where there's more room and you’re out of traffic.
- Electric powered deployment to the rear of the vehicle. Moves ladders to the rear and then tilts down to provide easy access.
- Variable mounting heights/locations with a range of 96" to 120'' off the ground.
- Deployment of ladders to a height of 36'' to 42'' off the ground.
- Unobstructed access to side compartments.
- Two rail design for added stability.
- Multiple combinations for storage of 14' and 24' 2-section Duo Safety ladders, two 10' pike poles, and a 10' folding ladder.
- Mechanically holds the bottom ladder in place while the single (top) ladder is removed.
- Simple on/off switch operation.
- LED warnings lights are located on the rack.
- Ladder locks to prevent bounce/movement.
The deployment is rear of truck. The commitment to your safety and convenience is leading edge.
