APPLETON, WIS. (December 24, 1999) – Pierce Manufacturing Inc., North America's leading manufacturer of custom fire apparatus, announced plans to invest more than $1 million to expand production facilities and capacity. The expansion includes a 12,500-square-foot addition to the fabrication facility, advanced robotics and restructured material handling processes.

The expansion project is scheduled to be completed in April 2000.
