The Pierce Rescue product line offers a wide range of choices for your custom-built fire apparatus. Customers can pick from a selection of chassis, body construction materials, and several compartment options. No other fire apparatus manufacturer offers more flexibility and solutions than Pierce when it comes to designing and building a rescue. Additionally, we back our products with the best warranties in the industry.

Pierce categorizes its Rescues into five primary product types: Walk-In, Non-Walk-In, Combination, Command and ENCORE®. The combination units are classified in one of two ways: Walk-In/Non-Walk-In or Command/Non-Walk-In.

The Heavy Rescue is built on a custom or commercial chassis. Body sizes range from 14-34 feet, and the customer can choose from either aluminum or stainless steel body material. With a Heavy Rescue, the customer can enjoy nearly unlimited customization in body and components.

The ENCORE® is built on a custom or commercial chassis. Body sizes range from 16-22 feet (with no customization on body sizes), and the customer can choose from either aluminum or stainless steel body material. With an ENCORE Rescue, the customer can also enjoy a high level of component customization. While an ENCORE® is a Non-Walk-In vehicle, the customer can choose to have a crew or command module in the forward or rear module. Lastly, commercial chassis are available with a pinched frame option.

  Walk-In

Pierce offers a full array of customized Walk-In-style bodies designed for command, personnel rehab and transport. The Pierce Walk-In Rescue equips you to handle any rescue situation with complete confidence.
  Non-Walk-In

Pierce Non-Walk-In Rescues are custom designed for your department's specific needs. They offer plenty of storage space for rescue tools and equipment, access to items from both sides of the truck, a breathing air compressor for SCBA bottle refilling operations and more.
  Combination

Pierce Combination Rescue vehicles provide the best of both worlds and are available in two (2) configurations: a combination of Walk-In and Non-Walk-In or a combination of Command and Non-Walk-In.
  Command

A variation of the walk-in Rescue, Pierce Command Rescues offer highly specialized teams an operations center to manage, organize and monitor incidents for long periods of time. Command centers may include radio and video eiqupment, as well as room for personnel, interior storage and conference room
  ENCORE®

Pierce ENCORE® Rescues offer outstanding flexibility at a competitive price. The optional drop-pinched frame provides four times the strength of the original factory frame and the ability to accommodate 40.5" deep compartments ahead of the rear wheels.
