Husky™ 30

An automatic balance pressure system, excellent for light industrial hazards and transportation hazards. Handles 1% of 3000 gpm water flows and 3% of 1000 gpm water flows. Individual metering valves for foam discharge allow for selection of water or foam when needed. Usable with both Class A and Class B foams.

At the front of the line.

  • Hydraulic drive powered to avoid a heavy draw on the chassis electrical system
  • Electronic system controller operating the hydraulics that uses no more than 5 ampres
  • Multiple point injection using the balanced pressure principle, which is the most reliable proportioning known
  • Individual metering valves that are infinitely variable. Easy field recalibrated for different foam densities.
  • Individual metering valves allow for the selection of foam or water operation at any given foam capable discharge, and variation of the foam percentage at each discharge if required.
  • Rotary gear foam pump, bronze body and rotor construction, stainless steel shafts
  • Dual tank option available with air operation of the tank suction and flush valves for maximum reliability
  • A system capacity of 30 GPM foam concentrate at 250 PSI allowing for high pressure foam operations such as aerial streams
  • A full manual overide system is provided, the same as on industrial foam systems. The system will operate manually with no electronic foam controller.

Capacity

  • 6% 500 GPM
  • 3% 1000 GPM
  • 1% 3000 GPM (the maximum flow will depend on pump and plumbing)
  • .5% 6000 GPM (the maximum flow will depend on pump and plumbing)
  • .3% 10000 GPM (the maximum flow will depend on pump and plumbing)

SAMPLE OPTIONS

  • Foam tank fill using the proportioner and foam pick-up tube to eliminate the need to drag foam pails to the top of the fire apparatus.
  • Integration with Pierce Hercules™ Compressed-air foam system.

SAFETY

  • Pierce® foam systems are much lighter than the heaviness of water weight in the hose and are easier to control and more effective, which means less injuries and health-related issues.
  • Experience quicker knockdown, resulting in less time spent at the fire and less fatigue.
  • Reduced water damage to the structure because only half the water is needed to extinguish the fire.
