Scotts Valley Fire Protection District
Established in 1958, the Scotts Valley Fire Protection District provides fire and emergency services to the city and community of Scotts Valley as well as the adjacent unincorporated areas of Santa Cruz County. The District's mission is to protect lives, the environment and property by providing a variety of services which include fire suppression, emergency medical services, administration, technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, public education, fire investigation and fire prevention.

"We deal with an extreme mix of hazards: commercial, rural mountain roads, urban interface, disaster response, auto extrication, and more. Our new apparatus had to be an all-risk engine. The suspension can take our district's access issues, while the Enforcer cab improves visibility, crew space, and storage for a large tool complement."
