The City of Manassas Fire and Rescue Department (CMFRD) was formed July 1, 2008 and is defined in the City Code Section 60-3. It is a part of the City of Manassas Fire and Rescue Service along with the Greater Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad and the Manassas Volunteer Fire Company.
