From Firehouse to Family Business 

The story of Golden State Fire begins with founder Bill Wright, whose passion for service was ignited as a young volunteer firefighter in Corte Madera, California. His firehouse experience shaped not only his future, but the future of a company grounded in trust, teamwork and putting customers first.

Incorporated in 1989, Golden State Fire has remained a family-owned and operated business—now spanning two generations—with Bill’s sons Ryan and Daron helping to lead operations and strategic growth. What started in the Wrights’ living room has evolved into a full-service dealership supporting both urban and rural departments across California.
