The City of Riverside Fire Department is an all hazard department founded in 1887. They are staffed with sworn and civilian personnel out of 14 fire stations. The incidents the department responds to range from structural and wildland fires, medical emergencies, hazmat, technical rescue, swift water, rail and aircraft.

"The amount of compartment space and maneuverability will improve our organization. This will allow us to carry needed equipment that we have not been able to carry before, such as our active shoot gear.
