Multi-city tour continues to connect firefighters with advanced fire apparatus, innovative technologies and real-world operational demonstrations.
APPLETON, Wis. (July 13, 2026) – Pierce Manufacturing Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) business, today announced that its 2026 Road Rally has reached the midpoint of its multi-month tour, bringing hands-on fire apparatus demonstrations, educational experiences and direct engagement opportunities to fire departments throughout North America.
Since launching in late April, the Road Rally has completed 20 stops across Illinois, Missouri, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi providing firefighters and department leaders with opportunities to drive, operate and evaluate Pierce® fire apparatus in real-world environments. Hosted in partnership with authorized Pierce dealers, each event is designed to help departments explore apparatus configurations and technologies that support their community's unique operational needs.
"The response to this year's Road Rally has been outstanding," said Marty Bass, president of Pierce Manufacturing. "We've welcomed both longtime Pierce customers and departments experiencing our apparatus for the first time. The opportunity to get behind the wheel, operate aerial devices and engage directly with our team creates meaningful conversations that help departments evaluate solutions while providing us with valuable customer feedback."
Throughout the tour, attendees have experienced a diverse lineup of apparatus, including the Enforcer™ Ascendant® 100' Heavy-Duty Aerial Tower, Enforcer Ascendant 107' Heavy-Duty Aerial Ladder, Enforcer Top Mount PUC™ Pumper, Enforcer Heavy-Duty Rescue Pumper and Saber® Pumpers. Participants have had the opportunity to drive apparatus on local roads, operate aerial devices and evaluate advanced technologies such as TAK-4 T3™ Tight Turning Technology and ClearSky Intelligence™ Connected Solutions.
Feedback from attendees has highlighted the performance and maneuverability of the featured apparatus. Firefighters have praised the Enforcer Ascendant 100' Heavy-Duty Aerial Tower for its smooth operation and ease of use, while others noted the exceptional maneuverability provided by TAK-4 T3 technology, commenting on the platform's tight turning radius and responsive handling. Participants also cited the visibility advantages of the Enforcer Top Mount PUC Pumper and the overall drivability of the apparatus lineup.
Bass added, “In several communities, local Pierce customers have enhanced the experience by bringing recently delivered apparatus to display alongside the Road Rally vehicles. These additional displays have provided attendees with firsthand insight into apparatus configurations and technologies currently serving neighboring departments.”
As the Road Rally continues throughout the summer, upcoming stops will include locations across, Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky, offering additional opportunities for departments to engage with Pierce experts and experience advanced fire apparatus firsthand.
